Dublin, Ireland, 24th August 2022 – Orphan Drug Consulting announces the appointment of Anne Capplis as Lead Consultant for the Asia Pacific region to the Orphan Drug Consulting team.
Orphan Drug Consulting is delighted to welcome Anne Capplis to its growing international consulting team as Lead Consultant for the Asia Pacific region. Orphan Drug Consulting expanded its operations into the Asia Pacific market with the opening of an Australian office in Sydney. Anne is Orphan Drug Consulting’s first hire in Australia since opening their new office in Sydney in Q2 2022.
Anne Capplis is the Lead Consultant for Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific with over 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry working across quality, supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, and company leadership teams. Anne brings considerable global experience across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, LATAM, Turkey, and Japan in all aspects of quality with a specialty in Product Security including start-ups and mid to large multinational pharmaceutical companies across medical devices, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology.
Anne has broad extensive experience in senior leadership roles in the Life Science industry with a focus on Quality, Customer Operations, and Supply Chain. Prior to joining Orphan Drug Consulting, Anne held leadership roles in Johnson & Johnson Medical/Janssen-Cilag, Ai Medics, Shire, and most recently was the Senior Director Quality International South Cluster Lead and Product Security at Alexion Pharmaceuticals Australia where she held a global role helping to build the commercial quality teams across the world.
Anne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the Institute (University) of Technology (UTS) Sydney and a Diploma in Education (Science) from the Australian Catholic University in Secondary Science – Biology and Chemistry.
