Dublin, Ireland, 12 August 2021 – Orphan Drug Consulting is delighted to welcome Jason Cameron to its growing international consulting team where he takes up the role of Chief Operating Officer.
Jason has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry working across supply chain, distribution, manufacturing, and broader technical operations, with a particular focus on rare disease companies.
Jason joins Orphan Drug Consulting as a key member of the Orphan Drug Consulting executive management team bringing a wealth of applicable experience in developing multinational technical operations functions including supply chain, manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, CMC regulatory, customer service, and procurement, within commercial and clinical environments. This experience will be invaluable, as he drives cross-functional excellence to support both new and existing clients in an increasingly complex industry. Jason will work from both the Dublin and London Orphan Drug Consulting offices.
Prior to joining Orphan Drug Consulting, Jason held various senior leadership positions in companies such as Genzyme, Synageva, and Amicus Therapeutics, where he most recently was Senior Vice President of Global Technical Operations with responsibility for overseeing product supply for Amicus’ first commercially launched product while also progressing process development and clinical product supply of the company’s pipeline.
